Business Case Workshop
This workshop meets the continuing professional development needs of a very broad management community. Developing robust business cases and using them effectively is at the core of an organisation’s successful decision making. This workshop gives delegates a deep insight into what constitutes a good business case, its lifecycle and contents, and provides plenty of practical case study work to practice the techniques. Delegates will leave feeling confident to develop robust recommendations and proactively contribute to their management. DESIGNED FOR The workshop will be of direct value to; Programme and Project Managers, Procurement, anybody contributing to the development of business cases, Assurors and Auditors. The workshop may form part of the continuing professional development of all managers giving them the core competency required to develop and evaluate business proposals. WORKSHOP OUTLINEThe workshop incorporates best practice guidance from the commercial and government sectors. It draws heavily on the OGC Best Practice Guidance as well as HM Treasury Green Book guidance. The materials are integrated with PRINCE2 and MSP methodologies.

The course is 'very hands on' giving delegates the opportunity to work through a variety of practise exercises, to develop and financially evaluate (NPV) a business case and then to assure and present it.
