NEBOSH stands for National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health. It is a UK based examination body that delivers management qualifications in health, safety and environmental management. It was established in 1979 and provides certifications from Foundation to Practitioner levels.

NEBOSH itself does not provide certifications to individuals. It creates syllabus, examination and practical coursework. These courses are delivered by course providers which are further accredited by NEBOSH. The NEBOSH qualifications are recognised by IOSH, IIRSM and IEMA.
