Even BCS had come into being in 1957 AD which is around 60 years from today. There have been rapid developments in Business Analysis since the last 5 to 10 years. The focus of Business Analysis lies on improving business situations and developing business solutions for the various problems encountered by the businesses.

The course has no perquisites, but the candidates must carry an identification proof to be provided whenever asked for by a BCS invigilator. The delegate can be disqualified on failing to produce the same.

Candidates who are sitting this exam with with a disability or whose native language differs to that of the examination paper are allotted some extra time. If a candidate qualifies for this, then it should be notified to the Exam Administration team.The candidates  must inform BCS at least two weeks before the exam regarding their disability or the language of their choice. Those failing to do so, may not be able to avail of this oppurtunity.

This course  is one of the core modules and is aimed at those professionals who want to garner analysis skills for implementing it in the various businesses. Those who are playing a strategical role in business can sit for this course. The course is based on strategic analysis rather than project analysis.

The BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice is an Open Book exam that lasts for 60 minutes. The candidate in order to obtain the certification must score a minimum of 50% pass marks.
